Facilities
The school is situated in the heart of Saanen, Gstaad, a beautiful village in the Bernese Oberland.
A series of traditional Swiss, historic buildings provides both teaching and boarding facilities at the school. A boarding house is a welcoming home to 25 male and female students. From September 2012, a separate boarding house will provide girls and boys with exclusive facilities.
Classes range from Reception (Ages 4 and 5) to Year 9 (Ages 14 and 15).
From September 2012, the school will extend to Year 10 as we begin the IGCSE Programme. The following year we will extend to Year 11.
The school works closely with the local community and takes advantage of the world class facilities on the door step. The ski slopes are among the very best in the world, and in winter, students spend either two or three afternoons per week, depending on age, ski training to the highest of standards. The school uses local gym, swimming pool and track facilities for physical education lessons and takes part in a wide range of activities from horse riding and mountain biking to yoga and piano lessons, all taking place in the community.
