For teaching purposes the school is divided into six classes of approximately 10 to 14 students each, as follows:

Each classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards and supervised by a fully-qualified and experienced teacher trained in the methods necessary for instructing multi-level individualized programs. The teacher is responsible for planning and teaching all subjects within a class unit with the exception of French, art, and music/drama, which are taught by specialist teachers. Senior mathematics, science, language arts and social studies are also taught by subject specialists.
assessment
Assessment is an important part of the educational process at the Kennedy School. Teachers are charged with the responsibility of continuously monitoring student progress using a variety of assessment techniques. This is accomplished through careful observation, frequent testing and the use of standardized tests. Reports on pupil progress are submitted to the director of studies regularly, and detailed anecdotal reports are sent to parents four times per year. Our students apply to a wide variety of secondary schools, and students leaving our program usually write entrance examinations as prescribed by the school(s) to which they are applying. Those wishing to attend schools in the U.S.A. often sit for the Secondary Schools Admission Test and those desiring entrance to British schools write the Common Entrance Examinations. All Kennedy School students from level 2 onward are tested yearly using the Educational Records Bureau's Comprehensive Testing Program III.
