Created in January 2007, the JFK School's Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has the stated mission to work in partnership with the JFK school leadership, creating a pro-ductive and mutually successful environment for the school population.

A PTA committee was elected to ensure continuity and action over the months, with an acting president, vice-president and secretary.

In addition to this permanent committee, the PTA is open to every parent and teacher at the JFK school and active participation is encouraged. Its success is going to be heavily dependent on the support and involvement of everyone.

PTA meetings are held approximately two to three times per term, with minutes being circulated to the meeting participants. We aim to circulate at least one JFK PTA Newsletter per school term as well. If you're interested in finding out more about the aims of the PTA, contact the school.
